Terms and Conditions:

Applicant must be a Residential BWP customer with an active BWP electrical account.
Vehicle purchased must be registered to a household member at the service address.
Limit of two used EV rebates per BWP account.
Only one rebate per VIN per customer account. Up to two rebates can be applied per VIN with a 24 month period in-between rebates.
Vehicle must be purchased. Leased vehicles will not qualify for the rebate.
Vehicle purchased must be two years or older than the calendar year of application.
Vehicles transferred from a family member, gifted, or won as a prize will not qualify for the rebate.
The rebate amount cannot exceed the purchase price of the vehicle.
Four-wheel plug-in EVs must be approved for highway transportation and be on the California Air Resources Board (CARB) carpool sticker list. See a complete list at ww2.arb.ca.gov/eligible-carpool-sticker-list.
Rebate requests must be submitted to BWP no later than FOUR MONTHS from the date of purchase.
Application must be signed, dated, and contain all of the supporting documentation.
A rebate check will be mailed to the applicant within 6–8 weeks of BWP receiving the application and all supporting documentation.
Rebates are not guaranteed and some limitations apply.
Rebate program is subject to change without notice.
BWP is not responsible for rebale applications lost or destroyed in the mail.
