Recently Completed Projects

We’ve partnering with Hollywood Burbank Airport and Baker Electric to build a 2 megawatt solar system with battery storage. The project will provide enough power for about 585 homes. Construction on the RITC Solar + Battery Project officially began in July 2025, marking a major milestone in Burbank’s transition to a cleaner, more sustainable future. Over several months, the crews installed more than 4,000 solar panels and an advanced battery storage system. The construction phase was completed in April 2026, and the project is now delivering zero-carbon power to the Burbank community.

BWP replaced the stairs at Water Reservoirs 4 and 5 as a safety improvement. The new stairs will allow crews to safely access the reservoirs for routine inspections and maintenance. The stair replacements were completed one reservoir at a time. Reservoir 4 was completed first, followed by Reservoir 5. The project took approximately 4-6 weeks per reservoir to complete. The project was completed at the end of March 2026.

BWP and BWP contractors will be constructing underground electrical conduit and manholes necessary to serve the replacement Burbank Airport Terminal Project. There will be temporary lane restrictions beginning in September, 2024 in each section that Doty will be working.
