Program Details:

Applications for High-Efficiency Toilets for single-family residential and multi-family with 4 units or less, are provided by the Metropolitan Water District through their SoCal WaterSmart Program.

High Efficiency Toilets

HETs use no more than 1.28 gallons of water per flush. The average water savings for HETs is estimated to be 19,000 gallons per year when replacing an average non-efficient toilet!

Eligible models must be WaterSense-qualified and meet 1.28 gallons per flush (gpf) or less.

Residential single family Up to $100 per toilet
Residential Multi family Up to $40 per toilet
Commercial Up to $40 per toilet

The Department of Water Resources (DWR) has a rebate program that provides rebates for replacing toilets at California single-family residences to support the State's drought response.
