The Delta Vision Committee Implementation Report
In September 2006, Governor Schwarzenegger launched the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Vision process by establishing a Blue Ribbon Task Force to develop a long-term vision for California’s Delta and a plan to implement that vision. In the October 2008 “Delta Vision Strategic Plan” the Task Force concluded that California’s Delta must be managed with two co-equal goals:
“Restore the Delta ecosystem and create a
more reliable water supply for California.”
