What to Do After Regular Business Hours
There is always someone available to speak with if you have a disruption in your water or electrical service. If an emergency should occur after our regular hours, please call us at 818-238-3778.
Read Your Own Meter?
A few residential customers read their own electric meters because of access problems for our meter readers. For instance, the meter may be located in an area that is locked. If you have questions about this program or would like to request installation of a remote meter, please call BWP during regular business hours at 818-238-3713 or email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Other Numbers to Call
If you notice street lights that have gone out or trees that are growing too close to the power lines, please call BWP at 818-238-3582 to report these problems.
On the monthly bill customers receive from us, there are Public Works charges as well as BWP charges. Call Public Works directly at 818-238-3800 for questions about traffic lights; refuse, recycling and green waste collection; sewer charges; and street sweeping.
