Water Rebate Program for Businesses

Burbank businesses must contact MWD’s “Save Water, Save a Buck” program at MWDSaveABuck.com  or 1-877-728-2282, to reserve a rebate.
To qualify, complexes must have a total of 5 units or more, or be represented by an HOA or Property Management Company with a combined total of 5 units or more.

MULTI-FAMILY and COMMERCIAL rebates are as follows:


Plumbing Fixtures:

 

High Efficiency Toilets
(Dual Flush, or 1.28 gpf or less Toilet)
(1.28 gpf or less replacing existing toilet of 1.6 gpf or more)

Zero Water Urinals
(0 gpf retrofitting existing urinals of 1.5 gpf or greater)

$200

 

 

Ultra Low Water Urinals
(<0.25 gpf retrofitting existing urinals of 1.5 gpf or greater)

$200

   

High Efficiency Toilets (HET)

HETs use no more than 1.28 gallons of water per flush. This water usage is about 20% below the current Ultra Low Flush Toilet plumbing standard of 1.6 gallons-per-flush. Rebates are no longer offered on Ultra Low Flush toilets. New construction and installations requiring a building permit must purchase High Efficiency Toilets to be eligible for a rebate.

SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL HOUSEHOLDS
