Need to establish or disconnect service with us? Moving to another address in Burbank? Need to change your mailing address or other information on your account? You can now do all this on-line! Click 'Get Connected' on the left menu to establish a first-time connection with us, or 'Create an account' to set up your BWP online account.

Visit Us or Call

Burbank Water and Power (BWP) is located at 164 West Magnolia Blvd. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to accept payments, establish or discontinue water and electric service, and answer any questions you might have. BWP is located on Magnolia Blvd. between Victory Blvd. and First Street.

Our Customer Service Representatives are available to help you by phone from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can reach us at 818-238-3700. Customers do not need to come into BWP's office to establish or discontinue water and electric service, make changes to your business account, or to make billing arrangements. All this can be done over the phone.

What to Do After Regular Business Hours

There is always someone available to speak with if you have a disruption in your water or electrical service. If an emergency should occur after our regular hours, please call us at 818-238-3778.

Other Numbers to Call

If you notice street lights that have gone out or trees that are growing too close to the power lines, please call BWP at 818-238-3582 to report these problems.

On the monthly bill customers receive from us, there are Public Works charges as well as BWP charges. Call Public Works directly at 818-238-3800 for questions about traffic lights; refuse, recycling and green waste collection; sewer charges; and street sweeping.

****Important Notice Regarding Your Water Service****

The City of Burbank now requires that all multi-family residential, commercial and industrial water service customers certify that certain water efficiency measures have been installed on their property.

Compliance must be achieved by October 31, 2010. Failure to certify compliance will result in a surcharge of 25% on the customer’s water bill for 12 months commencing on November 1, 2010. If non-compliance continues beyond the 12 month period, the surcharge will increase to 50% per month, until compliance occurs. NOTE: Toilets being removed from multi-family and commercial dwellings are considered construction waste and free bulky item pick up is not available. Construction waste removal is available from Public Works for a fee by calling (818) 238-3800
