Burbank Water and Power will host a public, joint study session about the long-term reliability of regional water and water issues connected to the Sacramento / San Joaquin Delta.
Burbank relies on the Sacramento/ San Joaquin Delta as the primary source to import its drinking water.
Bill Mace, BWP Asst. General Manager of Water and special guest speaker, Stephen N. Arakawa, Manager of the Bay-Delta Initiative, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, will provide an update on the status of efforts to achieve a sustainable plan for the Delta, an update on the Bay Delta Conservation Plan (BDCP), as well as answer any questions. The session will be recorded and will be made available for on-line post session viewing.
